Woodbury Performance Horses is located along the beautiful Heart River in Dickinson, North Dakota.
ALan Woodbury has dedicated his life to breeding and raising top quality performance horses. In 2003, Woody began Purchasing embryos from the First Barrel Racing futurity triple crown winner, SX Frenchmans Vanila, ridden by Carisa Shearer and owned by Carisa and Andrea Peterson. From his Vanila/Dash Ta Fame cross came a palomino superstar named Dash Ta Vanila. Dash Ta Vanila qualified for the NFR in 2012, along with another Woodbury favorite, Tell Em Belle. Since then, both mares have been standout producers in the woodbury program. Dash Ta Vanila has produced numerous top end barrel racing performers, including now 6x NFR Qualifier Rosas Cantina CC, ridden by lisa Lockhart. TEll Em Belle has made her mark as a Barrel Racing producer and a race track TOP AAA producer.
Dash Ta Vanila has since been sold, but Her buckskin beauty, Rosas Cantina CC, has become one of the most well-known barrel racing horses in the country. Rosa is also producing some of the finest barrel racing prospects in today's market. She is the dam to Lucky Wonder Horse, Monsterr, and Jaguarr...to name a few.
